Can I ask that this journalist be a colleague/mentor of the reporter I'm building currently?

This show was my first introduction to special operations in popular media:

It has always had a place in my heart, despite how badly it's aged haha.

Only hang up I have with this is the application picture. Can we change it to something that fits the board a bit better? I understand if that's not possible with this play-by. I did a quick Google search and since she's a musician it's hella hard, haha.

I can get a sign up for sure. I think it makes sense that the cartel starts trying to put more leverage on the world to recognize them, and taking the cruise liner would do that. "Don't send these cruises without recognizing us" or something.

 Personal History:
Jack was born and spent ten years of his life in Australia, where he, his mother, father, and brother spent many happy years before his mother divorced his father over an affair. She took the children and relocated to her parent's home in San Diego, California. An avid student, Jack always had a bright future. A state-ranked swimmer and diver, he had always loved the water and spent most of his time on the beach when not studying. His grandfather, a Naval veteran, also instilled in young Jack a desire to be a part of something bigger.

This led him to attend the Naval College. It was a hard sell to his mother, who wanted her son at UC Berkely, her alma mater, but Jack had his sights set on the military. Upon learning that he would be commissioned into the Navy as a petty officer, he petitioned to be transferred to the Marines after 9/11. He felt more at home there, much to the chagrin of his grandfather.

I like the idea of that, and it's the most likely scenario. This would be a perfect op for DevGru, SBS, and what not. I may have to get my DevGru operator up ASAP! lol

I like the idea of a cruise liner being taken. We could easily add that in to our current series in Argentina, as some liners have their port in Rio.
