"Copy that Tower." Chris acknowledged her orders as she pushed the control yoke forward. "Buckle up ladies and gents." She said over the helo's PA when with a sudden lurch and the ubiquitous 'thump thump' of the big bird lifted them off safely into the weather. Quite quickly 'Kermit' along with his three stable mates and the four AV8's were headed for Argentina. Chris called ahead to appraise the ground teams. "Assassin, Kermit inbound. Be advised ETA minus two point seven five, we have a tailwind."

"Captain Stone." She said again over the PA. "Your teams will be dropped at the Paraguayan border with Brazil, that country has given you a ten minute window to pass through their turf, don't screw it up. When you arrive in situ, inform Assassin we are on stand by for exfil."

<<To Argentina>>

Nervously Luciana glanced at one of the men's watches, her eyes widening in surprise for she had not been keeping track of time. She also knew exactly how long it would take to get these people into the cistern, for her to get back, clean up and appear as if everything was normal. Of course she had to do all of this as well, without practically peeing herself from fear. Thirty three minutes. She could get them in and hidden in twenty five if they left now, leaving her just eight minutes to reappear with her friends. "Senor?" She said anxiously.

okay okay I know we're not using these as its a little late, but God I swear so long as I live I will never tire of the sound of these two aircraft. I first heard a Mustang when I was 5 over in the US. I heard and saw the Spitfire 8 years ago at an air show in Melbourne with my dad. Both use the same engine.

NCIS is one show I've been wanting to watch for ages :) its on my list

some more of my favs. I think these have to be on everyone's list to.

hard to tell without a pic :P

Sketching out the map was easy, Luci was at the very least quite good with a pencil and her imagination. When done she handed it over, only to be surprised that the men then led her away. Shock registered on her face when she realized they were not going to let her go, more so they were willing to sacrifice the pilot into the bargain merely to get their macho off with guns blazing as if it were some action movie with Stallone. Most likely they were going to murder her as well. "I did not lie to you hombre, if within one hour I do not return, Catherine and my friends will die for certain. I will tell you this, that bunker was built sixty years ago by the government, it was built to resist a nuclear bomb...but if they..." She jabbed her thumb over her shoulder towards above them. "...think they may lose it senor, they will simply leave by the back door before you even arrive and you objective will still be lost either way." She looked at them with pleading eyes. "I want to kill that Pakistani pig myself, personally."

 :lol same here  :indeed

The rotors lazily turned as 'Kermit' sat there looking like a giant insect of pray from some far gone Paleogene era; the birds pilot sat patiently at the controls with her co-pilot beside her. The load master had taken care of securing the SBS team's RHIB so she only had to wait for the word to go from the team's CO Captain Stone. Chris was well aware of the mission and its importance, she glanced through the rain soaked windshield to see the four escorting AV8B's take off just ahead of her.

yep that works. The SBS team will be inbound via a CH53, they will be dropped into Uruguay (slipping through Brazil), make their way up river to the zone, a journey of about 15 minutes by RHIB.

escape can be executed by helos from Paraguay. The base is quite near to Yapeyś

So we have this little situation with two teams in location itching to blow shit up and stuff, another team inbound and poor Cate twiddling her thumbs just wanting to kill everyone  :sam3

But it needs timing to pull all the strings together to make it work as best as we can with realism. Cate is unaware another air strike is planned, the boys on the ground are. So she DOES not have five hours and they need to communicate that to her. In around 4 hours, the SBS team will arrive, so she has less than that to do what she needs to do. We need the first strike teams inside in that same time period.

So rather than play it out for the next month or so in real time, I am proposing a time jump. We move Lansbury and Freese into the facility (just below the kitchens) then jump 4 hours, blow the tower at the same time as the SBS team with Robert arrive. Have we communication that they are coming? If not Sam can take care of that.

The young woman wasn't a soldier by any stretch of the imagination, most of her life had been spent picking coffee beans or some other hard labor from sunrise to sunset to help her single mother care for six other siblings, all girls who in this part of the world like many others had little value to the grand scheme of things. Then the 'Cartel' came a year ago, posing as 'Freedom Fighters' with their grand speeches of helping the poor rise up from the capitalist oppression of the government regime. Her family and others like them had lived a world of poverty, it was all they knew other than the odd citizen who suddenly disappeared from time to time for speaking up about the hardships they suffered. Her father was one of them.

So it was she found herself with these 'patriots' some eight months ago. In the beginning they were all local men, other than Juan Sandez, a unionist from General Motors in Buenos Aires. He at least was a former soldier and it was he who initially looked after all their training; which was basic at best. Then some few months ago some foreigners started to join them, Arabic speaking men who said they could help deliver them from their oppressors but to do that they all need to seek forgiveness from Allah, be purged of their sins and join the world wide Caliphate to create an ever lasting peace.

Naturally the naive locals fell for it, many of them hadn't even heard of Islam, most of them couldn't read or write, while many had virtually zero contact with the world at large. While Luciana wasn't totally ignorant, she had a few years of schooling, she was though innocent enough at the time to fall for it. That was until one of her friends find Juan dead one morning, shot through the head. It all changed then, any questioning of their methods was answered with swift retribution, that included the women. Fail to meet your obligations, meant death. She had an idea.

"No, Catherine asked for it senor, but I believe it is possible to speed up what she wants to do. Eliminate one of their resources that she had planned on doing from the inside, can be done more easily from without." The good thing about being a local, she knew the lay of the land. "Twenty meters above the sullage exit where I escaped is their transmission tower, without that they are completely blind to all communications. Even their hand radios in this area rely on it. You have explosives si?" Her own plan if they were agreeable, was to place explosives around the tower on a timer, then take the men into the same dank tunnel she used, have them wait in the service junction as she gets back to Cate, letting her know of what was going down. Hopefully it could be timed right so she could get all the girls out safely. In her mind she could see the tower blowing, just as they let these hombres in to do what they had to do to those who had destroyed her life.
